PALMAKO BELONGS TO THE LEMEKS GROUP

Lemeks AS was founded in 1993 with an aim to create a modern forest stocking company systematically covering the whole country and on the basis of which a timber industry could be established, which values local timber.

Today, Lemeks Group has developed into the biggest forestry company in Estonia funded by Estonian capital, which operates successfully in the sphere of timber processing and forest stocking as well as agriculture. 35 subsidiaries and related companies provide employment to more than 1000 people in Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Norway, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and USA.

Belonging to the Lemeks Group provides Palmako support in financial management and IT. It also gives an excellent opportunity to exchange valuable information and experience with other specialists of the same field. The existence of saw mills belonging to the group’s value chain ensures the supply of raw material during harder times.

Timber in the garden

Garden timber covers a diverse range of products: playgrounds, swings, fence panels, garden furniture, practical and simple tool sheds, children’s playhouses, romantic and cosy pavilions and grill houses, carports, garages and, of course, garden houses as an additional cosy space. Palmako log houses can be used as summer cottages or residential houses. Outdoor saunas are also provided.

Machine rounded timber

Machine-rounded posts and poles make up the majority of Imprest production. Imprest offers various specifications starting from 40 mm diameter and 0.6 m length, reaching 200 mm diameter and 4 m length. Imprest also produces posts and poles according to the customer’s individual requirements.

Glued laminated timber products

Glued laminated timber products include glued laminated timber beams, duo-trio beams, finger-jointed construction timber and glued laminated logs. Beams are used as posts and weight bearing constructions. Glulam logs are used in wall constructions of Palmako log houses and they are sold to other log house manufacturers.

Premium wood pellets

Wood pellets are an environmentally-friendly type of biofuel. The advantages are the significantly lower prices compared with other fuel varieties, simplicity and convenience. The product range consists of 6 mm premium quality wood pellets, which are produced using the best possible raw materials.
